Generosity

Fall break is coming to an end and we have a great MOPS meeting planned for this Thursday morning.  Our guest speaker, Barb Christing, will be talking to us about Raising Generous Kids.  The Marvelous Wreck table will be providing HOT food and the Dazzling Chaos table will be providing COLD food.  Remember that child care check-in begins at 8:45am.  We look forward to seeing you all there! 

Start thinking about your Halloween costumes because our next meeting is on Halloween and if you like to dress up, we will be having a costume contest.  You can dress up individually or come up with a table theme and dress up together with your table.  (Costumes are not required.) 

Our Sweatshirts and S'mores Mom's Night Out is coming up on November 5th and 7pm.  

The church is hosting Trunk-or-Treat on Wednesday, October 30 from 5:30-7:30:
Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to wear their costume and come to CCC to collect candy…lots and lots of candy! Kids will go car-to-car looking at the decorated trunks; parents will enjoy watching jugglers, fire-breathers, and other street performers; and the teens will head to the Bridge for their own activities.  If you would like to host a "trunk" check out the website: http://chandlercc.org/th_gallery/trunk-or-treat/

Diapers and Dreams

This Thursday we are excited to have guest speaker, Carey Bailey, coming to share with us about pursuing your dreams in the midst of raising kids.  Carey is a mom, blogger, speaker and ministry leader.  We hope you will be there to listen to this great speaker and hopefully you are bringing a friend this week too.  It is "bring a friend to MOPS" week.  Don't forget to RSVP if you are bringing a friend so that we can make proper arrangements for childcare and food.  The Gorgeous Shambles table will bringing HOT food and the Exquisite Clutter table will be providing COLD food.

Top Chef

Do you have what it takes to be a MOPS Top Chef?  We will see this Thursday when we get to taste some of your favorite recipes.  It is going to be a fun morning of eating, voting, crafting, chatting, and much more.  Come hungry!  You should have already emailed your recipe in the recipe template to your table leader so that we can have the recipe cards printed and ready to share.  That way you will get to take home recipes for these wonderful dishes. 

Child care check-in begins at 8:45am, so that we can get started on time.
