MOPS stands for "mothers of preschoolers" - but don't let that confuse you. MOPS is about meeting the needs of every mom of a child from conception through kindergarten. Whether you're urban, suburban, rural, stay-at-home, working, teen, adoptive, special-needs, single or married, MOPS is for you.
Mothers of Preschoolers is a program to help you in those early years of child raising from birth through kindergarten. MOPS at CCC is a diverse group of women that comes together to connect and build relationships with other mom’s in a similar chapter of life. We are here to support each other in the journey of motherhood and create lasting friendships along the way. Meetings usually occur twice a month, depending on the school calendar for local schools. At each meeting there is free childcare provided by our wonderful MOPPETS workers. They love on the children and have a fun curriculum for each class. During the two hour meeting, mom’s enjoy breakfast, fellowship time, a guest speaker or a craft, and other activities depending on the topic for that week. There are playdates, mom’s night out events, service projects and opportunities to connect with the group throughout the year.
